So here they are...5 futuristic ships floating at different heights over Offutt Air Force Base (KOFF), Nebraska.

There are two big airborne aircraft carriers to land on and take off from; the USS Steve Hinson and the HMS Geddy Lee.

A smaller defender is alongside the USS Steve Hinson.

A ways back behind them and considerably higher, a destroyer escorts a civilian luxery liner.

INSTALLATION:

Unzip your package, then navigate to FS2004's main folder and find the 'Add-on Scenery' folder within.

Copy the folder 'KOFFSHIP' into this folder, and close the folders.

Start FS2004 and navigate via 'SETTINGS to the 'Scenery Library', then press the 'Add Area' button.

Navigate to FS2004's 'Add-ons Scenery' folder again, open it, then highlight the desired folder for installation (single-click on the 'KOFFSHIP' folder to highlight it) then press 'OK'.

FS will tell you to restart the simulator in order to see the changes you have made.

Please copy and paste the three .FX files contained within the provided 'effects' folder into the main Flight Simulator 'Effects' folder to see the blue engine glow on these 5 behemoths.

....Just start a flight at KOFF and pan the camera around, you can't miss these ships. The two carrier decks are landable (if you are gentle!) and the smaller carrier (The HMS Geddy Lee) also has two helipads that are landable between the lit helipad perimeter only.

If you don't care for any particular ship or ships, you can eliminate them by going into the KOFFSHIP's 'scenery' folder and deleting the appropriate .BGL;

'glee2.BGL' = The HMS Geddy Lee - the smaller green carrier with the landing strip and helipads.
'hincarr2.BGL' = The USS Steve Hinson - the larger carrier with a landing strip.
'defender1.BGL' = the smaller battleship alongside the USS Steve Hinson.
'destroyer3.BGL' = the larger battleship with all the turrets, escorting the...
'luxliner5.BGL' = luxery liner carrying diplomats.

These are clean FS add-on files and I hold no responsibility or liability in any case of damage to your software or hardware.
Not to be altered, repackaged or uploaded to any other site, period. This is fun, original Freeware stuff, never to be sold in any manner, period.

Thanks to Ardie/RD for beta-testing this scenery set, and thanks to the Forum members who also provided initial feedback on the actual landability of the carrier decks. They're landable if you execute a really sweet, smooth touchdown...if you don't contact those decks like a dozen bunnies you may crash through or break your gear.) ...Then you still have to stop before the deck ends. Try Steve Hinson's awesome F-14 Tomcat, and some small Cessna's, and a Twin Otter, etc. This effort is dedicated to the late Steve Hinson. A veteran, Steve was also an intense, articulate forum mate and a passionate developer for FS, look up his awe-inspiring F-14 Tomcats and aircraft carriers on the better FS sites.
Above all, have fun...they were fun to conceive and build. HARK A.K.A. Glenn Crowell hark2131@yahoo.ca All comments welcome
